hI! My problem is that I have a midi keyboard (M-audio play station 61es) , however the problem is that when I press the keys the volume indicator in Nuendo 4 goes up, indicating some sound however I don’t hear anything – which is weird because yesterday everything worked just fine.

I need to create a project in classical stile: chamber ensemble of strings, which are playing arco and pizzicato. I need 9 different voices because for arco and pizzicato of the one instrument I suppose to use 2 different tracks. All the voices of the score I will play on M-audio play station 61es

1) What type of the tracks I must create: midi, audio, or instrumental?
2) How to preset instruments (violin, viola, etc.) Should I choose them from /media/open sound Browser/, which has all the instruments and manners (I mean pizzicato) I need.
3) How to set metronome?
4) How to synchronize tracks?
