My PC runs WINXP and I have been using PGR camera on it for over one year. Some time back I tried to install driver for another camera and through oversight clicked 'yes' when asked if I wanted to 'remove ALL IEEE 1394 drivers'. This has now screwed up the drivers so that the IEEE 1394a card that I have on my PC does not come up in the list of devices in the Device Manger. I tried to repair the WINXP installation and when I booted from the WINXP cd and started the PC the card was recognized and I could work with the PGR camera as of old. However, when I rebooted the PC after having removed the WINXP cd from the drive I found that the card was not to be found in the list of devices in the Device Manger. Obviously, when booting from the cd the correct driver gets loaded. When booting from the hard drive the driver does not get loaded.
How can I restore the drivers that came with WINXP?
