Hi. This is my first post here. I've looked around but haven't seen posts similar to this so I'm hoping someone can help me.
I've got different formats in a sequence in FCP 5, so I'm trying to capture HDV footage through SDI into my capture card. Here's my process:
1. Sony HVR M25U HDV deck to Miranda HD Bridge via Firewire.
-The bridge is accepting the signal in HDV at 1080i 59.94. Everything appears to be okay so far.
2. Miranda box HD-SDI out to Kona LHe capture card SDI In via BNC.
-The Miranda box recognizes the output as 1080i 59.94 and everything appears to be okay, but my capture card is not recognizing the signal or translating it, because this is where it stops. I'm sending audio out AES and everything is fine with the audio, but I can not get video to happen.
- I should also point out that the capture card is hooked up correctly to the Mac Pro, and captures other formats with no problem. But at this point, in my Kona software control panel under the Video Input tab SDI is selected but displays "No Video".
I'm sure this is probably something simple I've overlooked, but after checking all the settings and connections multiple times, I'm out of ideas.
