As of May 18, 2009, we're running on a much faster new server - page load times should be significantly improved as a result.

 Subject: MoGraph Displacement Issue

Hello all. Been quite some time since I've posted. Back working in C4D (for this week anyway!) so here's a question:

I have an object (let's say a "shell") being deformed by the MoGraph Displacement Deformer. The "shell" is in a HyperNURBS object as well. I want to assign another object (let's say a sphere) to a point on the deformed object. So I rigged an Xpresso set up using the Point Node to attach the sphere to the "shell." Then I activated the "Use Deformed Points" option.

So far, though my sphere stays stuck to it's point on the shell, the Displacement Deformer is being ignored by the Point Node.

Ideally I'd like the sphere to attach and move along with the displaced HyperNURBS point, but I am far from that goal as yet.

Also someone refresh my memory and tell me how to use the Point Normal output to control the rotation of the sphere's access so the rotation will be proper. Thanks everybody!
