New Server

As of May 18, 2009, we're running on a much faster new server - page load times should be significantly improved as a result.

I just bought a laptop with a genuine Vista home premium,
its a Fujitsu-Siemens PA3553
3Gigs RAM
AMD Turion X2 at 2.0Ghz
320Gb HDD
Crossfire Hybrids Ati HD3470 and HD3100
so on so on... solid config for me anyway

so When I install Photoshop on it and then try to run it, click the icon,
the ps window pops up (with the file, edit, view ... buttons showing)
and before it even gets to the PS splashscreen it just freezes
and I dont mean the computer, but Photoshop! it keeps loading forever until I click the window and then it says it doesnt want to respond...............ever !

the same thing happens when I install the whoole CS3 creative suite,
and then I found out that even all the other adobe programs wont work in that similar way !
so i tried several copies of the creative suite and it happens over and over.

I even got the new photoshop CS4 and the same thing happens !

I'm really frustrated because my work depends on my favorite adobe programs,
im on the move now so I figured I could do it on my laptop... and then this happens!

I heard its got something to do with the new Vista Aero theme, turned that off and it still wont work

the thing is when i borrowed a copy of cs3 from a friend that runs it on Vista (and says it works) my laptop still wouldnt digest it

so, yeah i'm really depressed

help
