Hi,

I am using Premiere pro cs4 and am wanting to import AVI's and edit them in the timeline.

I am pretty much a novice when it comes to premiere, i use Final Cut Pro usually.

Whenever i import them and i try to play them, i get audio but just a still image throughout.

I have been using some software called 'Imtoo DVDRIPPER 5 ultimate' (dont know if anyone else uses it?) to rip my DVD's and converting them to AVI's. I must state that it is dvdr's of presentations not copyrighted material!!

Now i'm wondering whether its a problem with Premiere or a problem with my DVD ripping software.
