Can the inferno Playback at variable rates.

I have an animation that combines live action and stop motion. It was shot in 8fps, 15fps and 29.97. All files were converted to to 10 bit uncompressed 29.97.

I have loaded an cut the project in a 29.97fps seq in FCP but I am playing it back at 8fps to get us back to a look that we originated with. So if I play in back full rate it is now sped up. I had to set the project to be something TV (24, 25, 29.97).

We will conform and composite in the Inferno. What I need to know is, can inferno play back at 8fps while laying to tape (HDCAM) at 24fps or 29.97
