Subject: question from a newbie

I've recently gotten a job as an editor at an animation studio, and for an upcoming project, I believe it's flash animation, my boss needs me to be able to cut the animatic/timeline into individual clips and export those clips as individual quiktime files. Cutting I've got down, but I can't seem to find anything in the manual about how to just export a single clip to the desktop. Any suggestions...?
